BBQ Cauliflower Ball:
1 medium head cauliflower (or half of a big one), about 500g (16oz)
2 cups cooked brown rice, feel free to sub for whatever cooked grains you have
1/2 cup ground oats
2 tbsp canola oil
Salt to taste

Sauce –
4 tbsp tamari/soy sauce
2 minced garlic cloves
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped sweet onions
1 tsp paprika
Water as needed

⁃Cut cauliflower into florets. Bring a pot of water to boil, add the florets and cook for 4-5 minutes until you can pierce them with a fork, don’t over cook them!
⁃Once they’re cool enough to handle, coarsely process in a food processor, or hand chop into small pieces;
⁃Use a cheese cloth to wring out as much water as possible. This step is VERY IMPORTANT, do not skip;
⁃Finely ground the rice and oats in a food processor, add in the cauliflower pieces, oil, and mix well, then shape into balls;
⁃Bake at 395F for 35 minutes (if you’re also serving cabbage slices or other roasted veggies as a side, through them in together);
⁃Meanwhile, make the BBQ sauce, sauté the onions and garlic until fragrant, then add in all the rest sauce ingredients, cook till sauce thickens;
⁃When the cauliflower balls are ready, transfer into the sauce pan, baste till the balls are well coated. ENJOY!
