2 x Tins (400g ea) 16oz Organic Chickpeas-rinse well, keep some of the chickpea water
4 Tbls Flaxmeal- combine with 12 Tbls water
1 large onion-diced
50g 1.75oz fresh coriander-stems too
40g 1.5oz fresh parsley- stems removed
5 cloves garlic-crushed
Good amount of Salt and pepper
4 Tsp Cumin powder
1 1/2 Tsp ground coriander
4 Tbls Tahini
Zest of 1/2 Lemon
1 Cup Besan /chickpea flour
🌟Place the onion, fresh herbs, garlic, salt and pepper into a food processor and blend.
🌟Now add the chickpeas, Cumin, coriander, flaxmeal mix,Tahini, lemon zest and flour.
🌟Pulse 3 or 4 times so as to not over do it, you don’t want a smooth texture, keep some chickpeas whole in the process.
🌟Place into a bowl and finish off combining with you hands.
🌟Place baking paper onto a tray.
🌟Take aprox 150g of mix, with your hands gently form into burgers and place on tray.
🌟Place into oven at 350F / 200C and bake for 25 -30 mins or until browned and underneath is cooked.
